GATE is a state-of-the-art system for fully automated truck processing at the CHEMPARK sites in Leverkusen, Dormagen, and Krefeld-Uerdingen. It enables fast, contactless, and secure entry and exit for registered vehicles—without manual intervention or the need for drivers to leave their vehicles.
The system includes:
Optical Character Recognition (OCR):
High-resolution cameras capture license plates upon entry and exit and match them with stored tour data.
RFID-based driver card:
The driver card contains all relevant tour information and enables clear, contactless, and secure identification.
Multilingual touch terminal:
The combined lane terminal guides drivers step by step through the process—in more than 20 languages, using clear symbols and instructions.
Automated barriers & traffic light control:
Barriers open automatically once all requirements are met—without any manual intervention.
